On The Urban Debate, with Heena Gambhir, we discuss the controversy over the implementation of the National Education Policy 2022. Three states, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Kerala, have formed a bloc against the Centre's education policy. They termed NEP the 'National Exclusion Policy.' West Bengal has also said that it will not implement the Policy. All of these states are non-BJP ruled states and allege that the Policy is discriminatory in nature and is a threat to federalism. They also believe that the Policy is anti-poor and that the 'three language policy' will not work long. Heena Gambhir lays down the facts before joining our guests for the night. We are joined by Saket Gokhale, spokesperson of TMC, A Saravanan of the DMK, Krishna Mohan Tripathy, a member of the NEP Draft Committee and Meeta Sengupta, education strategy and policy advisor. Keep watching to know more about it! #MirrorNow #NEPRow2020 #TheUrbanDebate #HeenaGambhir
