He was the working leader of the Congress and popular amongst the Patidar Community as the agitation leader. The 28-year-old, in a letter to the Party President Sonia Gandhi, resigned citing the 'lack of seriousness' amongst the senior leadership as the reason.
He shared the news via his twitter handle, also sharing his 3-page resignation letter. He also preparing to join the Bharatiya Janata Party. Taking a dig at the seniors at INC, he said they are more concerned about delivering a 'chicken sandwich' to the visiting Delhi leaders.
