The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has accused Oppo India, of getting custom duties of massive Rs. 4,839 Crores. The DRI has also conducted searches at the office of Oppo India, and the residences of its top management. Previously, Vivo was accused of sending more money to China beyond their limits, evading taxations. The main aim of the DRI is to see how these Chinese phone maker companies bypass the taxes that must be legitimately paid to the agencies and government.
