At the conclusion of the third round of tallying in the Presidential election, Murmu has already received 50% of the total amount of valid votes. She will be the 15th President of India. The returning officer for the election, Rajya Sabha Secretary General PC Mody, told the media that Droupadi Murmu received 2161 votes with an electoral value of 5,77,777, while Yashwant Sinha get 1058 votes of the value of 2,61,062.
