After TS Singhdeo resigned, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel informed the Vidhan Sabha that Ravindra Choubey has been given charge of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department.
On Thursday, the Panchayat and Rural Development department was handed over to cabinet member Ravindra Choubey, five days after senior minister TS Singhdeo resigned. This declaration was made in the state legislature by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. Choubey is already in charge of the ministries of Parliamentary Affairs, Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare, Biodiversity, Animal Husbandry Development, Fisheries, and Water Resources.
