Amidst the flood fury in the IT capital, Bengaluru, the civic body BBMP is on an anti-encroachment drive and is taking down all the illegally constructed structures. In the latest developments, the Karnataka High Court has now asked the civic body to give prior notice to the owners of the structures which are illegally constructed and to be taken down by the BBMP. This comes after the BBMP razed multiple illegal properties that were built on the stormwater drains which lead to a huge uproar in the state.
