Haasan claimed that the digital personal data protection bill will have a draconian impact on the RTI Act and that it should not be implemented. Haasan pointed out several issues in the bill and said that the feedback mechanism is not up to the mark. Speaking on this, RTI activist Anjali Bhardwaj said, "The data protection bill fails to give the right to privacy & also amends the RTI Act.
