Sushanta Chowdhury, Minister of Information and Cultural Affairs in Tripura, said the Prime Minister will address a public gathering at Swami Vivekananda grounds after arriving at the Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) airport. He will also meet with beneficiaries of various welfare schemes and will most likely meet with MLAs and ministers of Tripura, he added. PM Modi's visit coincides with the state government's ongoing initiative to extend governance to the doorstep via a portal called 'Amar Sarkar' (My Government) in order to achieve Localised Sustainable Development Goals (LSDG) in the state.
