22:58Now PlayingIn this episode of Beyond The Headline, the host Afrida Rahman Ali will be discussing how there have lately been two horrifying reports of crimes against female visitors in Kerala and Goa. A South Korean woman claims that while visiting Kozhikode, Kerala, she was sexually attacked. The woman was detained by security guards at Calicut International Airport, according to the police, because she lacked the necessary documentation. She had entered the city on a tourist visa in December and arrived at the airport on Friday to depart for South Korea. In a related incident, the driver of a tempo traveller is accused of sexually assaulting a Mumbai student travelling to Goa on holiday.

"Where we're going wrong is in not addressing the root of the problem. Women can take as many precautions to be safe but what we also need to ask is what is making them feel unsafe," said PeppyTravelGirl, Content Creator.
