A pregnant woman and her husband were charred to death after a moving car caught fire near the Kannur District Hospital in Kerala. Four others travelling in the back seats including a three-year-old child survived the fire, which is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit. However, the police said that the cause can be ascertained only after a forensic test is held.
The six-member family was en route to the hospital when the tragedy struck, Malayala Manorama said in a report. The victims were identified as Kuttiyattur natives Reesha (26) and her husband Prajith (32).
