Feb 2, 20231:54Now PlayingTwo holy stones, namely Shaligrams, reached Ayodhya on February 2. The Shaligrams were dispatched from Nepal for the construction of idols Lord Ram and Janaki. Locals decorated Shaligrams with garlands and offered rituals before handing them to temple officials. Idols expected to be constructed by these Shaligrams are supposed to be placed inside the main temple complex. Shaligrams are found only on the riverbanks of the Kali Gandaki River. It flows through Nepal's Myagdi and Mustang districts. Watch the video for more.
