1:48Now PlayingIndian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Dausa on 12th of February. This stretch inaugurated by the PM Modi, connects Delhi, Jaipur, Dausa and Lalsot. It stretches 246 km and it reduces the travel time between Delhi and Jaipur to 3.5 hours. The entire length of the expressway spans around 1386 kms and will reduce the travel time between Delhi and Mumbai to 12 hours.
According to the government the Delhi-Mumbai greenfield project is the first in Asia and only second project in the world to have three animal underpasses and seven animal overpasses. It is also the first expressway in India with helipad for medical emergency services.
