2:01Now PlayingAs per the latest news on Mirror Now, The National Students Union of India (NSUI) and the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) staged a sit-in protest on Sunday outside the Jain University Center for Management Studies (CMS) in Bengaluru against the college administration for presenting a play that was disparaging to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. NSUI and KPCC representatives carried flags and an Ambedkar portrait as they shouted protests. Before being taken by police, some demonstrators even blacked the college board and scrawled "ban" on it. The controversy started after a comedy performed by Jain University students at a college event was denounced by Dalit organisations for making offensive remarks about Ambedkar and the whole Dalit community. The college administration suspended six students in connection with the play following the issue. Keep watching Times Now to know more in detail.
