5:54Now PlayingOn Monday, the French parliament will convene in a historic joint session at the Palace of Versailles to take a final decision on the constitutional right to an abortion. The vote will grant women the "guaranteed freedom" to choose an abortion if it receives the three-fifths majority needed to pass. The Sénat and Assemblée Nationale, the upper and lower chambers of parliament, have already approved the legislation; but, for constitutional reform to take effect, lawmakers must give their final assent during the joint session in Versailles.
