On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed this season’s onslaught of injuries to NFL quarterbacks. Clay suggested the Pittsburgh Steelers, with an 0-2 start and Ben Roethlisberger out for the season with an elbow injury, might consider “tanking-for-Tua” and lock up the Alabama QB in the 2020 draft.

Clay Travis also addressed the injury to Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who hasn’t missed games due to an injury since his high school days in Texas.

Clay Travis then talked about the Colts - Titans game which, according to Travis, took place on the “surface of the sun” in Nashville. Clay declared the Titans’ loss to the Colts on Sunday was officially his last time he will watch these two teams play in person. In the last 22 matchups, the Titans are 3-19 against the Colts.

Clay Travis went on to say he would gamble $1 million that Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs will win multiple Super Bowls in his career. Clay continued by saying Mahomes, if he stays healthy, has the potential to be even better than Tom Brady. Clay also predicted the Chiefs and the Patriots will end up in the AFC Championship as long as both quarterbacks avoid injury.

Clay Travis continued by offering the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Cowboys fans an official apology for questioning whether or not Dak Prescott is worth a multi-year deal worth at least $40 million. “If Carson Wentz is worth $32 million, Dak deserves $40 million,” said Travis.

Clay Travis also commented on the Florida - Kentucky game, and the collapse of the Wildcats on Saturday. Clay commented on the injury to Gator quarterback Feleipe Franks, the stunning performance by backup Kyle Trask, and the poor decision by the Gator running back toward the end of the game. Clay Travis concluded by commenting on a damning article written about wide receiver Antonio Brown in Sports Illustrated. The article, said Travis, features another allegation of sexual impropriety as well as numerous other lawsuits facing Brown involving financial matters. Brown is also accused of continually making racial slurs in the article.
