On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis addressed the Cleveland Browns Monday night win over the New York Jets. The Jets were awful, said Clay, and Baker Mayfield was alarmingly bad in his first Monday Night Football performance.

Clay Travis also discussed the announcement that the New York Giants will be benching veteran quarterback Eli Manning and will start rookie Daniel Jones next week. Clay believes Manning will end up in Canton and wondered if Eli would want to be a backup QB at this stage of his career.

Clay Travis also brought up the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade from the Miami Dolphins to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 1st round pick. This, said Travis, continues the Dolphins fire-sale and intentional tanking for a better future.

Clay Travis then addressed Jacksonville Jaguar CB Jalen Ramsey’s trade situation and believes the best place for him to land would be in Kansas City playing in the secondary for the Chiefs.

Clay Travis also talked about the injury-plagued quarterback landscape in the NFL, with Cam Newton now added to the list with a foot injury making it seven starting quarterbacks currently out with injuries.

Clay Travis then talked about the NFL Top 5 and bottom 5:

Top 5:

1 - Patriots

2 - Cowboys

3 - Chiefs

4 - Rams

5 - Ravens

Bottom 5:

28 - Panthers

29 - Giants

30 - Redskins

31 - Jets

32 - Dolphins

Clay Travis then gave an update on Antonio Brown and the Outkick investigation to find any evidence of Britney Taylor filing a criminal complaint for sexual impropriety. It appears there has not been a criminal complaint or criminal investigation filed by Brown’s accuser. Reports say Taylor spent 10 hours with the NFL on Monday, and now the NFL is in a bad spot, said Travis, because they have to quantify a consequence for Brown according to their (misguided) Personal Conduct Policy. Said Travis, the NFL should put the situation in the hands of the courts and the league shouldn’t be in this position.

Clay Travis also talked about Steve Spurrier and his thinly veiled sarcasm regarding his comments supporting Florida State head coach Willie Taggart to a college reporter from Gainesville.
