Clay also proposed that the 17th game might be played in neutral sites in cities without NFL franchises. Additionally, Clay proposed that the post-season be expanded as well as each team having two bye-weeks rather than one.
Clay Travis then discussed the New York Times article which claims Donald Trump’s “whistleblower” worked for the CIA. The story, said Travis, will disappear along with every other unreasonable claim by the Democrats during his presidency. The key for the Democrats to oust President Trump is to simply win the 2020 election, added Travis.
Clay Travis also talked about the feud between Rex Ryan and Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. The exchange revealed Mayfield’s underdeveloped sense of humor and Clay offered some better comebacks to Rex Ryan’s comment that Mayfield was overrated.
Clay Travis then discussed Jalen Ramsey’s litany of excuses to stay off the field and the Jacksonville Jaguars’ weak handling of his situation. Clay suggested Ramsey be fined or traded.
Clay Travis also commented on the Philadelphia Eagles - Green Bay Packers game on Thursday night and offered his gambling picks for the contest.
