YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOn today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed the trade between the LA Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars, with the Rams receiving Jalen Ramsey while the Jaguars will benefit from their acquisition of additional first round picks in the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Ramsey, said Travis, is probably the best player in the history of the Jaguar franchise, yet Jacksonville probably got the better end of the trade over the long haul.
Clay Travis went on to announce his top 5 and bottom 5 teams in the NFL this week:
Clay’s top 5
5 Packers
4 Seahawks
3 Saints
2 49ers
1 Patriots
Clay’s bottom 5
28 Browns
29 Falcons
30 Redskins
31 Bengals
32 Dolphins
Clay Travis continued by talking about the decision by the Tennessee Titans to bench Marcus Mariota for Ryan Tannehill at quarterback for their upcoming game against the LA Chargers. Clay sees the move as the Titans merely making Mariota a scapegoat, while the offensive line and recent coaching decisions are likely more culpable for their poor offensive performance this season.
Clay Travis also commented on the most recent Democratic debate, identifying Elizabeth Warren as the favorite for her party’s nomination. Clay sees this as a bad move for the DNC. Clay sees Biden as a better option to win the Big 10 states, which are essential to defeat President Trump in 2020, but the former VP’s poor oratory skills are distancing him from the less likable and less electable Warren as the probable nominee for the Democrats.
Finally, Clay Travis brought up the Washington Nationals’ win over the St. Louis Cardinals to move on to the World Series. Clay believes the Nats will play the Astros in the October Classic and wonders how miserable former National standout Bryce Harper is feeling on his birthday today.
