On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis commented on the weekend’s college and NFL football games, beginning with Clay’s opinion of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh. Said Travis, he is the most overrated coach in the history of college football and Michigan will fail to play for their conference championship for their fifth consecutive season under his leadership. Clay Travis called Ohio State the “class of the Big Ten,” and believes the only role Michigan can now play is of a spoiler. Penn State is also on Clay’s radar in the conference.

Clay Travis continued by identifying Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa and his high ankle injury, surgery, and recovery as the top story in college football for the next few weeks. Clay also commented on the highly questionable calls by officials in the Alabama - Tennessee game as well as in other matchups. Clay also believes Alabama will now lose to LSU and Auburn, and Tua’s excellence has been “papering over” an otherwise average Alabama team.

Clay Travis also commented on Wisconsin’s shocking loss to Illinois and brought up the intriguing stat that Illinois didn’t have a red-zone snap the entire game. Georgia’s less than stellar performance in their win against Kentucky was also on Clay's docket. Georgia’s QB Jake Fromm only threw for 35 yards in the storm-tossed game, said Travis, and they are trending down.

Clay Travis identified his top 10 teams in CFB:

11 Oregon

10 Notre Dame

9 Georgia

8 Auburn

7 Florida

6 Clemson

5 Penn State

4 Oklahoma

3 Alabama

2 Ohio State

1 LSU

Clay Travis ranked his top 4 candidates for the 4 Heisman Trophy:

4 Jalen Hurts

3 Justin Fields

2 Tua Tagovailoa

1 Joe Burrow

Clay Travis listed his SEC Power Rankings:

14 Arkansas

13 Vanderbilt

12 Kentucky

11 Mississippi State

10 Tennessee

9 Ole Miss

8 Mizzou

7 Texas A&M

6 South Carolina

5 Georgia

4 Auburn

3 Florida

2 Alabama

1 LSU

Clay Travis also discussed the bizarre ending of the Chargers - Titans game and also openly wondered if this might be near the end of the Philip Rivers era for the Bolts.

Clay Travis went on to praise Aaron Rodgers for his incredible performance in the Green Bay Packers' decisive win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, and included Rodgers in his list of the top three passing quarterbacks in the NFL, with Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson completing the trio.

Clay Travis continued by bringing up the embattled state of affairs for the Atlanta Falcons and believes head coach Dan Quinn needs to be fired.

The 49ers and their undefeated season was next on the bill for Clay Travis, and the 16-2 record as a starter for Jimmy Garoppolo is somehow flying under the radar.

Clay Travis also identified the Indianapolis Colts as flying under the radar, with Jacoby Brissett leading the team to a surprising high level of performance this season in the wake of Andrew Luck's sudden retirement.

Clay Travis also praised Kirk Cousins for his play for the Minnesota Vikings this season and their ’sleeper” status as one of the top teams in the NFL.

Clay finished by rounding out the rest of the teams in the NFL and their games over the weekend.
