YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOn today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis addressed the ongoing mess with China, with China now removing NBA banners on buildings and within gyms after cancelling their televised coverage of games within the country. Clay also offered some free advice (cancel the games, cancel their business arrangement, leave China) for embattled NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. It’s also quite possible, said Travis, that Rockets’ GM Daryl Morey might have sent the most expensive and consequential tweet since the advent of Twitter. Clay also made it clear that Morey had every right to share his opinion and he should not be any consequences from the NBA.
Clay Travis went on to comment on a couple who were removed from a 76ers game for starting a “free Hong Kong” chant in Philadelphia. This might be the beginning of many more chants like it in other NBA games and in other public places such, as College Gameday, according to Travis.
Clay Travis also brought up Richard Sherman’s lie about the pre-game handshake snub by Browns’ quarterback Baker Mayfield during the Browns - 49ers game on Monday Night Football. Richard Sherman is going to apologize, according to reports.
Clay Travis also confessed his lie to his 9-year old son re: tonight’s Game 5 for the Braves, telling him he thought the Atlanta Braves will win. Clay pointed to his life-experience with the dismal history of October performances by the Braves as the source of his skepticism. Clay also talked about Game 5 between the Washington Nationals and the Los Angeles Dodgers, recognizing the massive following the Dodgers have in LA. and how both Braves and Dodgers fans will be on pins and needles tonight.
Finally, Clay Travis praised Penn State head coach James Franklin for his press conference to put to rest the ‘controversy’ surrounding the letter that gained so much attention by the media.
