On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis commented on the CFP and agrees with the committee’s rankings of LSU at #1, Ohio State at #2, Clemson at #3, and Oklahoma at #4. Clay also praised LSU’s Joe Burrow and believes he is a lock for the Heisman Trophy.

Clay Travis then commented on the hiring of Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss, and talked about two viral videos already in circulation since he accepted the position.

Clay Travis went on to discuss Ryan Tannehill’s stellar performances since taking over as QB for the Tennessee Titans. Clay thanked the Miami Dolphins for the QB.

Clay Travis also discussed Jimmy G’s success in San Francisco as the 49ers continue to surge. TE George Kittle’s angry run on Sunday was the best play of the day, said Travis. Clay also commented on the Baltimore Ravens and their status as the top team in the AFC while sharing his insight on other notable contests in the NFL on Sunday.

Clay Travis went on to mention the hiring of Nike Norvell at Florida State as well as other prominent coaching changes in the NCAA.

Finally, Clay Travis mentioned that Megan Rapinoe was announced as Sports illustrated’s Sportsman of the Year, but disagrees with the political undertones surrounding it. Clay said SI handed her the award because of her anti-Trump position more than for her athletic performance. Clay rightly claimed that Rapinoe would not have received the award if she was a Trump supporter as there is a clear left-leaning bias.
