as posted by the channelOn today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis discussed the Texans - Titans game, calling it the biggest game in Nashville in a long time. Clay believes if the Titans can get into the playoffs this season they can do some damage. Derrick Henry is questionable, but Clay hopes he will draw on Steve McNair and go from questionable to playing exceptionally well.
Clay Travis also talked about the Bills - Steelers game on Sunday Night Football, and says this season should deliver Mike Tomlin a coach of the year award. Clay likes the Bills to win outright and likes the under.
The Cowboys game against the Rams is the third big game of the weekend and Clay Travis believes the game will go to Los Angeles.
Clay Travis then commented on Lamar Jackson’s performance on Thursday Night Football, calling him a shoe-in for this season’s MVP award. Clay wondered if Jackson can sustain his record-breaking performance in seasons to come as a running QB who can also throw.
Clay Travis also mentioned Pac-12 CEO Larry Scott’s comments on his lack of interest in the possibility of expanding the College Football Playoff because he over-values the Rose Bowl. Clay believes this is backward thinking.
Clay Travis went on to talk about Janoris Jenkins getting waived by the New York Giants for sending an offensive tweet to a fan. Jenkins attempted to defend his use of the word “retard” as “slang that’s part of his culture.” Clay believes Jenkins and the Giants are both wrong for their actions.
Clay Travis then turned to the train wreck that is Antonio Brown for losing his mind on Twitter as well. Clay continued his campaign against athletes attempting to “build a brand” on social media as it continues to ruin careers.
Clay Travis called the articles of impeachment dead on arrival when it reaches the senate, and believes impeachment is now being used as a political weapon rooted in partisan hate that has been used by Republicans and Democrats.
Finally, Clay Travis shared his opinion on the landslide victory for Boris Johnson which will lead to Brexit. Clay believes social media activity in the UK and in the US has painted a false picture of far-left cultures in both societies that don’t actually exist on a large scale. This far-left social activism is actually strengthening conservative politics in the US and the UK, added Travis.
