YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOn today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis began with Tennessee’s improbable 4th quarter win over Indiana in the Gator Bowl. The onside kick made all the difference, said Travis, and the future looks bright for the Volunteers under Jeremy Pruitt.
Clay Travis then shared his thoughts on the NFL wild card games: Clay likes the Bills +3 over the Texans as well as the under, and Clay also likes the Titans to win outright over the Patriots as well as the over for the games on Saturday. As for Sunday’s games, Clay likes the over in the game between the Saints and the Vikings and he also likes Seattle and the under in the Seahawks game against the Eagles.
Clay Travis then talked about the firing of Joe Moorhead at Mississippi State, and went into detail over the ramifications of the controversial end zone celebration during the Egg Bowl in 2019 as with coaches were fired. Clay concluded the segment by saying Hugh Freeze would be the ideal hire for Mississippi State for a pure entertainment perspective, even though Clay doesn’t think Freeze would accept the position if offered.
Clay Travis went on to discuss the unofficial firing of Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett. “Josh McDaniels doesn’t seem like a Jerry Jones hire to me. He’s more of a conventional guy and Jerry Jones doesn’t usually go for conventional. I like Lincoln Riley, Greg Roman, and Urban Meyer as guys who could make the most sense for the Cowboys,” said Travis.
Finally, Clay Travis commented on the situation in Iran and believes the United States did the right thing by knocking off the Iranian terrorist that shouldn’t be political.
