He said it only got worse from there, eventually reaching a point with Snow White where the political reframing became so heavy handed the film reportedly took years longer to make because the original version leaned so hard into commentary it barely resembled the story that made cultural history in the first place. He argued Disney is now trapped by its own shifting agenda, watching audiences simply stop caring, and questioned whether the studio can even recover from the damage at this point.
