People have been giving loads of stupid reasons as to why they won’t get a vaccine that is nearly 100% effective at preventing hospitalizations from COVID. Some refuse because they think they’re going to also be implanted with a Gates Foundation microchip, or that the vaccine makes your arm magnetic, or some other such nonsense. This might be the weirdest explanation yet.
A group of terminally online anti-vaxxer have started to propagate the idea that their sperm is intrinsically worth more than vaccinated sperm because... reasons? These folks think that the side effects from these “experimental” COVID vaccines will eventually cause vaccinated people to drop dead, and the earth will then need to be repopulated by non-vaxxed individuals. "Sperm is the new Bitcoin," is one of the main memes that has accompanied this insanity.
This is also coupled with the strange but understandable semen shortage throughout the country. According to Vice News, sperm banks have had a difficult time filling their vaults due to the COVID-19 pandemic, much in the same way that blood banks have had an incredibly difficult time finding donors. This has caused a supply shortage, which has caused prices to spike.

This week The Bitchuation Room was joined by Jennifer Jajeh, an LA based actor and comedian who has performed on stages across the US, the UK and the Middle East. Her TV credits include the Emmy winning Amazon show, Transparent and Netflix’s Messiah, but these days, you can mostly find her on zoom getting upstaged by her rescue dog and cat.
We were also joined by Nando Vila this week. Nando is the host of Jacobin’s “Weekends.” His most recent episode, “Lawmakers Keep Failing the Homeless” on the homelessness crisis in California dropped today over on the Jacobin YouTube channel!
