4:52Now PlayingCreepy or cool? During Paris fashion week, a strange but somewhat familiar robotic presence made an appearance: one of the Boston Dynamics robot dogs joined in the festivities and even took part in one of the shows. At one point, the dogs even “helped” some of the models in their performances.
According to Jezebel: “Arnaud Vaillant, one of the designers behind Coperni, explained to the Guardian that their decision to partner with Boston Dynamics was because they were ‘the first robot company who signed a charter that they would never give weapons to robots’ and ‘the first who sent robots to Ukraine to clear dangerous bomb sites.’ Vaillant added that while he was first disturbed by the robots, he now hopes Coperni’s message shows that ‘humans and technology can live together in harmony.’”
Does this redeem their runway appearance?
