As Donald launches tariffs against our trade partners, Wall Street has been spiralling. One day the tariffs are on, the next day they are off, and the stock market has been crashing as a result. The NASDAQ had its worst day since 2022 on March 10th, falling over 800 points or around 4%. But don’t worry, Trump told Fox News that you shouldn’t look at the stock market, nothing to see there. That’s the art of the deal in full swing, baby!
Many investors are feeling the pain of the markets being tanked, including Mr. DOGE himself, Elon Musk. Tesla stock has crashed almost 50% since inauguration day. This is in no small part due to the huge backlash to Elon’s hostile takeover of our government agencies, resulting in protests at Tesla showrooms.
Musk took to Fox News to try and spin the narratives, and nearly started to cry when admitting that he was struggling to run his companies. Aww, poor Apartheid Clyde! Don’t feel too bad for him though, his best buddy Donald Trump announced that he was going to buy a Tesla from him. They even did what was effectively a Tesla ad in front of The White House. As cliche as it is to say, this is straight up Idiocracy.
