Ryan calls in with what he confidently describes as a five-step argument for God — but it takes about three minutes before the hosts realize they've heard this one before. What follows is a 45-minute tour through the Kalam Cosmological Argument, the Argument from Design, a detour through Peter Boghosian's street epistemology, and a very uncomfortable conversation about whether Justin is going to hell. Ryan insists the hosts believe the universe came from nothing (they don't), argues the universe is "ordered" by an intelligent designer (the hosts disagree), and eventually recommends Justin "just try being Christian" — not knowing Justin spent 20 years in the church and a decade in ministry. The call ends with Ryan blessing the hosts and Forrest responding in kind.
