Daniel opens by trying to condemn MAGA Christianity for ignoring Jesus's teachings but Matt quickly discovers that Daniel believes Jesus performed actual miracles (without the atonement), can't produce a single piece of non-biblical evidence, and has redefined the word "miracle" to mean anything impressive enough to make him feel awe. Submarines. Penicillin. Gravitational lensing. All miracles, by Daniel's logic. Matt's counter — that impressive is not the same as miraculous — goes nowhere, and after Daniel asks whether explaining a miracle with science makes it less miraculous, Matt ends the call. The post-call debrief features Alyssa noting she genuinely couldn't contribute because the whole conversation was too unhinged to engage with.
