Samuel from Spain calls in with a philosophical argument for God's existence — the modal ontological argument — delivered so fast he's clearly hoping no one catches the premises. Ian catches every single one. The argument collapses in minutes when Ian points out that a necessary being could be mathematics, not God, and that defining your way to God's existence proves nothing. Samuel never recovers, spending the rest of the call fabricating citations, using slurs, and asking gotcha questions he doesn't understand himself. When pushed to state plainly whether he believes in a God with a mind, he says no. Just a necessary thing. Ian and Justin close by agreeing that the underlying argument is actually interesting — it's just a shame Samuel wasn't capable of having that conversation.
