7:37Now PlayingTrump Media is reportedly pitching Wall Street firms a paid service that would give them faster access to Donald Trump’s market-moving Truth Social posts.
The top plan reportedly costs $100,000 per month. A discounted plan would cost $60,000 per month for firms willing to sign a 3-year contract.
The service, called the Truth API, is expected to provide banks and trading firms with faster access to posts from the 10 most influential Truth Social accounts, including Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Dan Bongino, and Sean Hannity.
Trump’s posts have moved financial markets before. On April 9, 2025, major indexes rose sharply after Trump announced on Truth Social that he would pause many of his tariffs for 90 days.
That means Trump Media is not simply selling content.
It is selling a time advantage — giving firms that can afford the subscription a head start before ordinary investors see the same information.
Critics, including CREW president Donald Sherman, called the arrangement “wildly unethical.” Senator Elizabeth Warren called it “an egregious scheme to profit off the presidency and enrich Wall Street while doing nothing to help Americans.”
