0:58Now PlayingA Former Muncie, Indiana Police Officer Jeremy Gibson, will be sentenced in Federal Court in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday, August 31st, 2023... for his role in using "excessive force" on citizens he and other MPD Officers came in contact with while he was on the job.
Gibson admitted to the excessive force and he has asked the Judge for a "no-prison time" sentence. Gibson, through his attorney and court filings said the following: (He) "fell prey to a corrupt police department characterized by nepotism, a lack of training, and supervisors who turned a blind eye to unethical behavior.”
