Biden Referred to Ukrainian President Zelensky as Russian President Putin During Presser! (07.11.24)

During the Presser at the 2024 Nato Summit in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, July 11th, 2024, President Joe Biden was wrapping up remarks and introducing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the audience.

BUT JUST THEN, THE EVIL REPUBLICANS DECIDED THEY WEREN'T GOING TO LET THAT HAPPEN WITHOUT A MISSTEP! And so, they placed the "gaffe spell" on Biden at that moment, which caused him to make one of the most horrible, cringy screw-ups he could have made!

So, in real-time, with the world media watching and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky just feet from him, President Biden said: "And now I want to hand it over to the President of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination, ladies and gentlemen, President PUTIN!"

Ohhh... ahhh, Uhhh... WOW!

The audience didn't know what to do, so there was a pause where applause would generally be, and Zelensky started walking to the podium! At which point, the voice in the secret microphone in Biden's ear started screaming: "NOT PUTIN, YOU IDIOT! ZELENSKY! NOT PUTIN! ZELENSKY!"

Biden came too, at that moment, and said: "President Putin!" (AGAIN! - Because, like why...) he continued: "You can beat President Putin. President Zelensky! I'm so focused on beatin' Putin... we got to worry about it! Anyway, Mr. President!"

Zelensky speaks up, saying: "I'm better!

And Biden then replies: "You are a hell of a lot better!"

And the crowd laughs uncomfortably.

This screw-up then caused what the media was calling a "HIGH STAKES" Press Conference scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to be pushed back over an hour. Once that Presser kicked off and Biden got through some remarks, he took questions—the FIRST ONE OUT OF THE GATE, CAUSING HIM TO REFER TO VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS AS... VICE PRESIDENT TRUMP!

Needless to say, it was one of those days!

However, the "Putin/Zelensky" flub will go down in the history books.

Of course, the incident stoked the growing discussions among Democrats about the gravity of this slip and its potential implications. Many were shocked by the mistake, but honestly, it's more shocking that they are shocked at this point!
