Another Anti Mask Republican Official Has Died Of COVID

A Republican Party chair from South Carolina died of COVID this week. Pressley Stutts, the chair of the Greenville County Republican Party in South Carolina, had made numerous social media posts talking about "freedom" of individuals to wear masks or to not wear masks, and also praised the South Carolina legislature for NOT implementing a mask mandate. He also posted a meme in recent months saying that the "Delta Variant" was "code" for "people aren't scared enough." It is hard to keep track of how many deaths like this there have been. Yet another Republican official who was anti mask and seemingly anti vaccine died from COVID-19 this week. This time it was Greenville County Republican party leader, Pressley Stutts, from South Carolina, died of COVID this week. And of course a dive through his social media. He's out there praising the bans on mask mandates, talking about how masks are ineffective. He's gone after the vaccines. I mean, it's typical. It's the same blueprint, the exact same story we're seeing all the time in these Republicans dying of COVID after spending months trashing any safety measures to protect us from this disease. I've said it before, and I will say it again, I take no joy in reporting these stories at all. I don't want another human being on this planet to die of COVID not one. I don't care who they are. I don't want COVID to wipe out every Republican in this country. I may disagree with them on literally everything, but I'm not a heartless monster. I have empathy for these individuals.

I don't want COVID to take out a single anti vaxxer even the ones that I have had very public disagreements with. I want them to be safe. I want them to be protected. I want everybody to enjoy that same level of protection and safety. But I am going to talk about it every time one of these stories comes up. I'm going to talk about it because maybe this is going to shock a little sense into the people that refuse to take any kind of safety precautions at all. If you're worried about the vaccine, go talk to a medical professional, a real one. Okay. Don't get sucked into the, you know, oh, well this isn't real medicine. No, go talk to a real medical doctor at a hospital and see what they have to say about the safety of the vaccine. See what they have to say about the people who suffer and die from COVID. The struggles that they go through. It's also worth noting and I like to point this out as well. We have had plenty of these people on their death beds with some of their last words saying, I wish I'd gotten the vaccine. Uh, I don't know that there's any record of any of them saying I'm so glad I didn't get the vaccine.

I'm so glad I didn't wear a mask. Nope. I don't know of any reports of that. So maybe at this point we ought to start listening to the dead and see what they had to say right before they succumb to this disease. Maybe that will open up some people's eyes. And yeah, in case you can't tell stories like this do me off because this is needless unnecessary death. And I don't care that it's an individual that I'm sure I had absolutely nothing in common with, an individual that I would debate and fight against every one of their policies. I didn't want this man to die. And more importantly, neither did his family. Neither did the people who love him and he's gone now. He's gone. Do what you can to protect yourself because you're not just protecting you. You're protecting everyone that cares about you. You're protecting everyone you come in contact with. And if you're not willing to do that, then you're just a selfish, disgusting individual that is clearly siding with the virus at this point.
