4:47Now PlayingFox News host Maria Bartiromo proved that she has no idea how the US Constitution works over the weekend when she ordered Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to look into using the 25th Amendment to remove Joe Biden from office. McCarthy has no authority at all to invoke the 25th Amendment - a move like that would have to come from the Cabinet and Vice President before being put before the Senate. This shows not just that Bartiromo is an idiot, but also that people are so upset over ending a war that they'll do anything to get it back. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Over the weekend, Fox news host Maria Bartiromo made it crystal clear to everyone that she has no idea how the constitution works, how things in Washington DC work and pretty much how anything at all ever works. Because you see, Bartiromo was having a discussion on the air with house minority leader, Kevin McCarthy, and she told Kevin McCarthy that he needs to use the 25th amendment, look into the 25th amendment and, you know, see what he can do to remove Joe Biden from office. Here's what she said. Will you lead drawing up articles of impeachment? Will you look at the 25th amendment? What are your plans in terms of leadership as we are in this incredible moment in time? Will you look into 25th amendment? Okay, Maria, let's go ahead. Real quick. Just as short as possible constitutional law session here. The 25th amendment does in fact allow for the removal of a president if that president is unable to perform their duties due to physical or mental issues, I guess we'll say.
Um, here's the thing though, that process would have to be started by the vice president and the cabinet itself. And then once they all do agree that, hey, this person can't do their job. Then the Senate also gets involved. They're allowed to invoke the 25th amendment at the request of the vice president and the cabinet members. They would then force the president because just invoking it, by the way, does not remove the individual. The president would then have to go through a series of tests or analysis or whatever it is they, you know, have in their modern protocol to prove that they're fit for the job. If they prove they're fit for the job, that's it. If they prove that they're not, then of course comes the process by which you have to have the votes to remove the person. None of which, by the way, is feasible with Democrats in control of the legislative branch and of course Biden's friends being the ones that he's put in the cabinet. And of course, vice president Kamala Harris is absolutely not going to invoke the 25th amendment, nor should she.
I have plenty, plenty of issues with Joe Biden that I have sat here and discussed on multiple different occasions. But I don't think the man is too crazy to serve as president of the United States. Now the last guy, that's a conversation absolutely worth having. With Biden, I don't think so. And so let's move on to your other point. Impeachment, you're going to draw up articles of impeachment. For what? What high crimes and or misdemeanors has Joe Biden committed other than, of course the cardinal sin of getting America out of an endless war. Are y'all really that crazy? Are you really that hell bent on making sure the United States fights for forever, that you actually want to remove a president for doing something good? Now he may have done it poorly. I'll give you that. I don't disagree with you there. This withdrawal could have been handled in a much better way. I think. I don't even know that for certain anymore. But yeah, we probably should have gone around and gathered up all of our weapons before we just bolted from the country.
But other than that, the Taliban taking over, this almost was inevitable at any point. But we can't just stay there forever.
