Donald Trump clearly understands how devastating the televised January 6th Committee hearings are for him, and he's now raging at the networks airing the hearings and demanding "equal time." If he wants time to air his side of the story then he is more than welcome to go sit down with the Committee and let the world hear what he has to say. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

One of the things that is bothering Donald Trump the most about the January 6th committee's televised hearings is the fact that he's not getting the attention that he wants. And recently he sent out a post on truth, social demanding, equal time from all of these networks that have devoted so many hours recently to airing the select committee's hearings. So here is what Donald Trump had to say. Again, this was posted to truth. Social. The fake news networks are perpetuating lies, falsehoods and Russia, Russia, Russia type disinformation, same sick people. Here we go again by allowing the low rated, but nevertheless, one-sided slanderous unselect committee hearings to go endlessly and aimlessly on and on and on. It is a one-sided highly partisan, which hunt, the likes of which have never been seen in Congress before. Therefore I am here by demanding equal time to spell out the massive voter fraud and dim security breach. I demand equal time.

Okay. Um, a lot of lies. Holy crap. A lot of lies in that one statement, low rated buddy, you got millions of people tuning into networks that ordinarily do not get millions of people tuning in. Okay. This is a ratings hit. Secondly, Russia, Russia. They're they're they're not talking about Russia. Like what the hell are you even talking about? Not to mention one sided, highly partisan witch hunt. The likes of which has never been seen in Congress before. Huh? Gee, can anybody think of any time in congressional history where we basically had witch hunts in Congress where we were looking for people who were thought to be a part of something, and then we would basically excommunicate them from all kinds of communities. I, I don't know any kind of, you know, scare come to mind, maybe a shade of red that happened in Congress.

Hmm. Yeah. I'm gonna go with, uh, the McCarthy crap as being far worse, buddy. Uh, and then of course I demand equal time. Well, cool. That means absolutely nothing. Cuz you're not in a position to where you get to make demands, but I will tell you this bud, you want, you want time on national TV, you want millions of people tuning in. There's a very simple thing you can do. You make a couple phone calls to that select committee and say, Hey, because I want equal time because I want to present my so-called evidence. I'm gonna come and testify at your hearing and I'm gonna talk and you're gonna listen. I am sure that committee would welcome you with open arms. Come on in. They would say, have a seat, tell your story. Oh, we're gonna ask some questions

Too. But we want the American public to hear whatever crazy thing it is. You have to say, and we will let you talk uninterrupted for quite a while. Just so the public understands how deranged you are. So if you want equal time, Donald, there's a very simple thing you can do reach out to that select committee offer to go and talk to them. Oh, and I can promise you you'll get the ratings you've been waiting for. You'll get the equal time. You'll get to tell your side of the story, but you're also gonna have to face some tough questions, but the choice is yours. Cuz if you don't go along with that, then your demands of equal time are gonna go unheated.
