According to multiple new reports, Donald Trump's future in politics is in peril thanks to the work of the January 6th Committee. Even though he still leads in Republican polling, the numbers aren't trending in a way that suggests he can rise to power again, and voters and donors are looking for other candidates that might not be as "embarrassing" for them - like Ron DeSantis. Multiple new reports have been coming out no in the last week, two weeks, whatever it is every week, actually, we're getting kind of multiple reports here talking about the fact that Donald Trump's presidential hopes for 2024 appear to be fading fast. Now, before I talk about what the latest reports are saying, let's be very clear about something as it stands right now, poll show Donald Trump is still the clear front runner in the Republican race, right? I think he's beating Ron DeSantis by like 30 points, but DeSantis poll numbers have gone way up and Trump's poll numbers have gone way down since the televised hearings began. And of course, really with each kind of passing week Trump's numbers get worse. I mean, the number of Americans who now say that he should be prosecuted. We got half of the country says the guy should be prosecuted.

Whereas three weeks ago, two thirds of the country said, no, he shouldn't two weeks before that two thirds of the country said, he's not even responsible for January 6th. All of that has flipped. And again, with each hearing, things get so much worse for Donald Trump. So now there's not just whispers of Donald Trump's political career. Being over Republican strategists, Republican consultants are outright telling the media. Trump is finished. I'll believe that when I see it, but let's talk about what they're saying. G O P campaign, uh, campaign consultant, Rick Wilson had this to say, um, apparently they feel like this was a phenomenal day for them, that it was a great breakdown of Trump's malfeasance and they didn't have to bring the attack. It was brought by one of his former loyalists talking about Cassy Hutchinson. If you look at it in terms of the 2024 nomination process, it was a consequential day. I've picked up the same rumors that everybody else is hearing that Ron DeSantis people are practically picking out curtains in the white house. After last Tuesday, DeSantis has been very carefully building out a presidential campaign for 2024 to primary Donald Trump, raising money, building relationships, going out there and quietly whispering. He's crazy. I'm not, I'm younger, I'm smarter. I'm thinner. I'm better looking. I can deliver more for you than the crazy old orange guys or orange guys. Sorry.

Now again, everything kind of focuses on Ron DeSantis right now. And obviously, like I said, his poll numbers are rising. Dude's sitting on more money than almost any candidate in the country for any office. Hi, hi, his campaign war chest actually rivals Donald Trump's right now, DeSantis is looking good to Republicans. And of course there's been plenty of other reports. You do have actual Republican voters saying that I'm done. As I've talked about, you know, extensively people on Fox news are

Turning against Donald Trump, Washington examiner, all of these other conservative publications, starting to kind of come to the same conclusion that Trump is finished. He's just far too toxic and possibly in serious criminal trouble for us to continue supporting him again. The poll numbers right now, still show Trump winning. But as we get more of these hearings, I do believe if they're all as explosive as the ones we've had so far, I have no reason to doubt that they won't be. As long as that continues.
