Republican Congressman Mo Brooks is ready to cut all ties with Donald Trump after the former President pulled an endorsement as Brooks lost his Senate primary several months ago. Brooks is out for blood, it seems, and he is attacked Trump as "disloyal, incompetent, crude" and many other unflattering adjectives. The cracks are growing larger by the day and it will be hard for Trump to win back the hearts of many of these Republicans that he has upset. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

The list of mag fanatics that have now turned against Donald Trump continues to grow each and every day. We got to Laron out there. We got Candice Owens, and now we got most of the folks in Fox News, by the way. And now, uh, even Charlie Kirk, by the way. And now we get to add another name to that list. That name is Republican Congressman Mo Brooks, Mo Brooks, the man who showed up at the stop the steel rally on January 6th, 2021, wearing a bulletproof vest in support of Donald Trump. Came out in an interview with al.com and said this about Donald. It would be a bad mistake for the Republicans to have Donald Trump as their nominee in 2024. Donald Trump has proven himself to be dishonest, disloyal, incompetent, crude, and a lot of other things that alienates so many independents and Republicans, even a candidate who campaigns from his basement can beat him. Now, this is coming from a man who just a couple months ago was begging, begging Donald Trump to not rescind his endorsement of him, which of course is exactly what happened. Mo Brooks wanted that senate seat in Alabama, so he was running in the Republican primary. Trump initially endorsed him, but then Mo Brooks came out, told people, move past the 2020 election. Trump got, rescinded the endorsement, and Mo Brooks continued to kiss Donald Trump's from there until now.

These are strong words and I've never agreed with anything that Mo Brooks has ever said, but I do agree with this. You know, broken clock was right twice a day and all that, right? And, and here it is. He's right. I mean, dishonest, disloyal, incompetent, and crude. Those are the perfect adjectives to Distri to describe Donald Trump. And other than the disloyal part, those are things that do stand out with independent voters. They know who Donald Trump is. Now. They know what to expect from him, and they don't like it. They have rejected it now in three different elections, 20 18, 20 20, now 2022. And Trump thinks he can just waltz back in and do the same thing. And these people are gonna be like, Well, I know I hated it for many years now, but, uh, what the hell that, that's not going to happen. And I think that's what most of these Republicans are finally waking up to. Trump has lost and lost, and lost, and lost in four elections, including 2016, because even though he won, he still technically lost cuz he didn't get the popular vote. Lost that by over 3 million votes daily Clinton, he is a serial campaign loser. His endorsements are a kiss of death for candidates. He is not good. And people have repeatedly told the Republican Party, We don't want him and his antics.

And now we're seeing this great awakening in the Republican party. They're all rubbing their eyes and like, Oh, oh my God, I've been living as Charlie Kirk or Charlie Kirk put it yesterday. I've been living in an echo chamber, apparently believing our own hype about how great Donald Trump is, only to realize at the end of the day. As I've repeatedly said, for years now, the emperor has no clothes. More and more Republicans are starting to think that not enough yet, Trump's still gonna make his announcement. He's still gonna throw his hat in, but I don't think it's gonna go the way that he expects it to go at all.
