During an interview with the uh, uh, outlet Simo this week, Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State, somebody who is widely rumored to be eyeing a 2024 presidential run. Mike Pompeo proclaimed that the most dangerous human being on the planet is Randy Winegar, the President of the American Teachers Federation Union. Let me read what Pompeo said. I tell the story often. I get asked, who's the most dangerous person in the world? Is it Chairman Kim? Is it Xin Ping? The most dangerous person in the world is Randy Winegar. It's not a close call. If you ask who's the most likely to take this republic down, it would be the teachers unions and the fil that they're teaching our kids and the fact that they don't know math and reading or writing. First of all, our kids do know math. They do know reading, and they do know writing. The problem that we have within our public schools is not with the teachers. The problem is the fact that this country treats public education like some kind of weird fringe benefit that we don't really wanna fund. We are starving schools around the country of much needed cash, to the point where teachers are having to buy their own copy paper to make worksheets for their children.

I know, cuz I buy reams of paper every single month and send them up to my wife's school, not just for her, but for the other teachers because I'm able to. I just had to donate $2,000 to my son's elementary school because they desperately need the money. Not that I have a lot to spare, but I scraped it together to help the schools. That's why our kids are struggling because they're working with textbooks that have either been edited to Helen back by right wing dip, or they're dealing with textbooks that are so outdated, the things they're teaching aren't even relevant anymore or they've been disproven. That's the problem with our schools. But this rhetoric from Mike Pompeo, not just attacking teachers, but attacking this one individual, Randy, we garden, he's gonna get her killed, and you'd be hard pressed to be able to convince me that that's not what he wants to do.

This rhetoric coming from Republicans, whether it's against the LGBTQ community, whether it's against the drag community, whether it's against teachers, whether it's against immigrants. We are seeing in real time the results of that kind of rhetoric. It's happening against election workers too, with Republicans saying they're stealing elections. So what do these mega freaks do? They go out there and they grab a gun and they start shooting because of people like Mike Pompeo, because of people like the idiots at Fox News, because of people like Trump. You're getting people killed and you're not gonna stop. You're gonna keep using the same rhetoric. You're gonna attack teachers, you're gonna attack the LGBTQ folks. You're going to attack, attack election workers. You're going to attack the special prosecutors. You're gonna attack everybody that doesn't do exactly what you want. The problem with teaching today is not that teachers are trying to indoctrinate children. It's that Republicans have been systemically trying to destroy public education for decades, and we're dealing with the ramifications of that with the budget cuts that they have implemented it. They wanted public education to fail, so they made it fail so that they could say it had failed. They, people like Mike Pompeo did this, but he's gonna blame everybody else and possibly get them killed in the process.
