As both Democrats and Republicans attack Tucker Carlson over his selective edits of the January 6th footage, Donald Trump, Jr. rushed in to defend him and claim that rest of the network was trying to bury the truth. The only "truth" to Carlson's footage is that people were in the Capitol when they were not legally allowed to be there, and everything else is pure fantasy. While most of the country, including Republicans in the House and Senate, are attacking Tucker Carlson for lying about everything that happened on the day of January 6th, 2021. There is one person that has jumped out right in front to defend Tucker Carlson, even though we also learned this week that Tucker Carlson said he hates this man's dad. Passionately that man, of course, defending Tucker Carlson is none other than Donald Trump Jr. Who got on Twitter after Tucker Carlson aired his completely fictitious account of January 6th and Junior tweeted this, why on earth is the rest of Fox hiding the truth? Fox News is completely ignoring Tucker Carlson's January 6th tapes. And the folks on Twitter pointed out that, yeah, they're ignoring it because they already got in trouble for lying once, and their network is losing a lot of their uh, reputation because of that particular lawsuit referring of course to the one from Dominion.

So that's probably why the rest of the network doesn't want to touch it. They don't want to spread more lies, especially because Tucker Carlson said some statements that could be seen as defamatory against Officer Bryan's sick. Now, the other thing about this too, with Donald Trump, Jr. Rushing to Tucker Carlson's defense saying, oh, here's what really happened, is that on the day of January 6th, we actually have text messages from Donald Trump Jr. Who at the time understood how horrible everything was. Here is what Donald Trump Jr. Said in text messages to Mark Meadows on January 6th. He's got to condemn this asap. The Capitol Police tweet is not enough. We need an Oval Office address. He has to lead. Now it has gone too far and gotten out of hand.

So how did we go from, it's gone too far and gotten out of hand to why is Fox News ignoring all of this? This is the truth. Tucker Carlson has the truth and everybody else is ignoring it. Yeah, dude, two years ago you were like, this is horrible. This is the worst thing ever. My dad's not even leading. Oh my God, what's going on? And see, it's that memory that I know, by the way, you have jr. It's that memory that's being invoked with all of the people watching Tucker Carlson's fake footage. Essentially. We all remember being glued to our televisions or our computers watching all of this unfold. It was real. It happened. We all saw it. And no amount of selective editing is going to make people forget what actually happened that day. So you can push it all you want. You can rush out there to defend a guy who not only said he hates your dad passionately, but admitted in private text messages that your dad was also a failure as a president. Or you can say nothing like, that's also an option, junior. You don't have to have a response to every single thing that happens sometimes. The best thing to say is absolutely nothing at all.
