Trump Swears He Doesn't Want Help Fighting Indictments After Begging Congress To Save Him

Donald Trump told a crowd at his Bedminster Golf club a few days ago that he "doesn't need any help" fighting the indictments against him. This came just a few days after Trump sent out a post on Truth Social begging Republicans in Congress to save him by going after the DOJ. Trump also lied to the crowd by saying that he has lawyers coming up to him all the time offering to help, a claim that is easily refuted by the sheer number of lawyers who are denying his requests for help. Last week, Donald Trump got on Truth social and begged Congress to save his behind by launching investigations into, as he called them, the witch hunts, taking place. The, the Manhattan DA's office, the D o j Georgia. He wanted Congress, according to this truth, social post, to investigate all of the investigations into him because he's terrified, which makes it even funnier that like two days after he put that post on truth, social, Trump went up to his Bedminster golf course in New Jersey where he told a crowd gathered there that I keep telling people I don't want any help. Oh, don't you worry, I got this. Here's Trump's comments. And, and just for a little context, he had been talking about, you know, his horrible legal team, the lawyers leaving him, the lawyers refusing him. So this is how he tried to play that off. He says, I tell all these people, they all come in, they wanna help the biggest, some of the biggest people, the biggest law firms, the biggest lawyers. I say, listen, I don't need any help. I don't want any help in campaigns.

So he begs congress like, you guys gotta do something. Get the witch hunts gone. Help me, save me, please. And then of course, when nobody's looking, he is like, yeah, you know, I really don't even need any help. I, uh, I pretty much got this under control. You know, look at me, I'm big bad Donald Trump, right? These people, the biggest people, I don't know. I don't even know what that means. Biggest people, um, just like these giants are walking up to Donald Trump, like, let me be your lawyer. And he is like, thank you, gentle giant, but I don't need you. I'm better than that. Uh, no, he is not. And by the way, Donald, yes, you do need help. I hope you don't get it. Like, don't get me wrong, I do not want you to get the help that you need. And, and I mean that in so very many different ways.

But you are struggling to find good lawyers. You got rejected by multiple different law firms down here in the state of Florida. Some of them rejected you based on politics alone, even though they supported you according to the reports. One lawyer said, look, I would love to represent the guy. I think I could easily win this case. But, you know, my wife would divorce me if I ended up working for him, so I would never do it. Um, but you can't go out there and honestly try to convince people that you don't need help on your legal team. Your only competent lawyers have left you the one of whom, uh, the one you have left that was semi competent Taina proved in the Eugene Carroll case that he's not that great. Like I, I don't even know how he flubbed that so badly. But he did. What, what do you have left? You have the parking garage lawyer, uh, Alina Haba. You got a cu, you got Evan Corcoran who might actually be working

As a witness against you. You have Christina Bob who doesn't understand how the Presidential Record Act works. So yeah, you need those big lawyers to come up and help you. You need Congress to help you. But the reason of course Trump is saying he doesn't need any help is because he's big bad Donald Trump. So that way, when all of this is over, if he prevails, he can say, I did it by myself. If somebody swoops in to save him, he doesn't get to take that credit.
