well folks from New York City courtrooms to Washington DC in the halls of Congress and even stretching out a little bit down to Georgia it's been a crazy week so far pretty much all along the east coast and uh joining me to help break down all of the insanity from the courtroom to the halls of Congress is Cliff Sher the host of the blue amp Channel on YouTube and of course the bestselling author of the book The Real McCain Cliff uh I love having you on because when I have you on it means means that everything has gone crazy in the world and you're here to help us kind of sort through it all so it's always a pleasure and it's a bit of a omen at this point that if Cliff's here yeah something's happened right well thank you I know that that I can root for asteroids hitting Earth um as well as large tidal waves and all sorts of things and know that I'll get my shot on ring of fire if any of that comes to pass well you're you're the best person to talk to about all this you've obviously you know been covering this forever so let's start with with the chaos in DC Uh Kevin McCarthy we hardly knew ye he lasted a 24 and a halfish scaramucci but it's over we we currently don't have a speaker of the house right now thanks mostly to Matt Gates what what what what do you make of all of this Insanity right now I mean we averted the debt sealing or the the the uh government shutdown for a few weeks and then we lose Kevin McCarthy in the battle it's just just tragic isn't it I I know the letters from the front lines must be so sad um you know the thing is Matt Gates is is Matt Gates right he he's a destructive force he's a joke he's sociopathic he's there to harm people and get attention um so the fact that it came from him you know I guess it would have to come from someone like him so I've got no you know there's never going to be any oh thank you Matt Gates I mean the man probably should be in prison probably allegedly trafficker allegedly broke into the skiff you know's he's a horrible human being and clearly is is is a trump and Putin stoe um although look on this one Trump wanted his guy McCarthy to stay there and that's probably a transition to the next thing I'll say which is look the thing that the narrative out there that gets me the most right now you get some of it from Republicans and you get some of it from our stupid both sides media which is why didn't you guys save Kevin McCarthy he's so reasonable and he's moderate and now you've thrown us into disarray and it's like we have I mean you guys will just find a way to always make it about us eight members of the Republican Party chose to toss McCarthy overboard and they had no margin for error by the way Nancy Pelosi always had the same margin and did just fine um and that is because they have chosen to debase themselves to chase further you know like cisus pushing pushing a rock up a hill it's like if the top of the hill is fascist extremism that's where they've been going um and and you know they've they've brought the stupidest most most sort of unserious worst people in the world into their party and then they wonder why this kind of thing happens I mean I'll just say quickly toss it back to you Kevin McCarthy is no moderate we just actually had Jamie Rasin on our Channel on YouTube and you know he was talking about this uh representative Rasin and the key point which is again a moderate doesn't support the impeachment of Joe Biden for nothing a moderate doesn't lie to Joe Biden around the debt ceiling and say we'll keep spending levels the same and then betray him
