Kamala Harris NAILS IT With Perfect Running Mate Choice

Unlike Donald Trump, Kamala Harris took some time and weighed her options before picking her running mate, and her announcement on Tuesday morning was met with overwhelming approval (unlike Trump’s pick of J.D. Vance.) Minnesota Governor Tim Walz will now be on the ballot with Harris in November, and she couldn’t have picked a better running mate to shore up any weaknesses that her campaign may have. We've gotta talk about it, folks. I don't know about you, but Tuesday morning that announcement came out and I was more excited about American politics than I have been since Bernie Sanders first ran for president in 2016. Kamala Harris has of course picked Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz as her running mate. It's the the one I was pulling for. So I could not be more excited, not just because of his policies, but because of who he is. It just all around is like the best possible pick that Harris could have made. I mean, even these folks that have been out there saying that, oh, well, Harris' gonna screw things up somehow. She's in a honeymoon period. The, the, the detractors on the left for Harris were not just stunned. They were celebrating. They're like, okay. She, she gets it now. She wins. That is what they said.

She wins now. So this is a big deal. This was the smartest political decision she could have made. She took her time with it. She vetted these people, interviewed them multiple times, which I'm assuming is far more than Donald Trump did before he picked JD Vance on the advice of his idiot sons. But I wanna share this information just in case you had any question about why Walls is the best pick and full credit, by the way, to Kyle Kalinski, who put together this list of waltz accomplishments, uh, all the way back. I think it was like July 22nd. Um, Kyle put this list together. So let me read this to you again, full credit to Kyle Kalinsky for this, but it's a phenomenal list of waltz's achievements, and it's important to keep in mind that Waltz was able to do these things. I'm about to tell you in Minnesota, with only a one seat advantage in the state legislature.

Here's what he's done. Universal free school meals legalized marijuana, carbon free electricity by 2040, tax rebate for the working class up to $1,300 if you're making under 150,000 per year. 12 weeks of paid family leave, 12 weeks of paid sick leave. He banned conversion therapy. He passed red flag laws for gun ownership, universal background checks for guns, automatic voter registration, free public college for those making under 80,000, uh, ban on PFAS, or excuse me, I believe it's under 80,000 costs ban on PFAS, uh, which we've talked about at length at Ring of Fire for years. Uh, $2.2 billion increase in K through 12 school funding, a sectoral bargaining for nursing home workers. And when he was in Congress, here is what Walls did again from Kyle Kalinsky. He opposed the Wall Street bailouts of 20, uh, 2008. He voted against outsourcing deals. He has a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood. He banned non-compete clauses, raised minimum wage for small businesses, raised taxes on multinational corporations, protected gender affirming care,

Banned medical providers from withholding care over debt protected construction workers from wage theft. Uh, and he passed a massive infrastructure bill for Minnesota while governor, um, that of course was kind of mixed there, uh, some while he was in Congress, some while he was, uh, governor. Either way, doesn't matter. These are frigging massive things. He is also not on the list. Um, protected Social Security prevented the state of Minnesota from actually passing a bill that would've exempted the wealthy from paying Social Security taxes in the state. He killed that. This guy's the real deal. And even better than that, I mean, not necessarily, but you know, he's a fighter. This man has been out there in the media for months now, even before the vp. Speculation, fighting, fighting back against the other side, calling them out forcefully and aggressively, but not too aggressive as to turn off voters.
