Gardner said people’s concerns over historical medical racism are valid, but that it’s important for the Black community to get vaccinated.
People of color have faced challenges in getting access to the vaccine. Gardner calls for various states to work with community organizers to not only get people vaccinated but to make sure the right information concerning the vaccine gets out to the public.
