The first thing two Presidents spoke about was stability. The conversation then switched to both of their experiences of the world’s stage.
Haq says, “Biden went to look Putin eye to eye to have a frank conversation to say, this is what is important to the United States here is what we will do. But also, to announce that democracy and the United States are back on the world stage. So, in that regard definitely a success for the United States. Now can we say there was some big breakthrough deal? No, but it was not the erratic up and down ‘is Russia going to be in the White House interfering in our elections’? Some of those questions were put to rest.”
