7:30Now PlayingGuest host Shannon LaNier is here to inform viewers about the recent rise in numbers in at least 42 states due to the Delta variant of COVID-19. Numbers are peaking in states with the lowest vaccination rate.
Emergency Room physician Dr. Rob Davidson joined “Start Your Day” to explain the rise. Dr. Davidson points out that people who are unvaccinated should be very concerned with this new variant because the vaccine will prevent individuals from being hospitalized or dying.
Communities where people are unvaccinated are of the highest concern. Dr. Davidson further explains that he recently had a patient who refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine because he didn’t know what was in the vaccine. “There’s a large group of people that are unfortunately being poisoned by an entire media ecosystem on the right that is telling them to be afraid of these vaccines.”
