7:00Now PlayingTexas Democrats are in Washington D.C. fighting to protect the voting rights of Black and Brown people at the ballots.
Democratic State Representative Ron Reynolds joined “BNC Today” to speak about what led him to leave the state of Texas in order to fight on Capitol Hill. Reynolds and other Democratic colleagues left Texas because their Republican counterparts were determined to bring a voter suppression bill to Texas. The bill was initiated from the propaganda of former President Trump about voting fraud during the 2020 Presidential election. Reynolds further explained that Texas has the highest number of African Americans, and he wanted to go to Capitol Hill on their behalf in order to dismantle this bill.
