5:54Now PlayingCharles J. Kelly, also known as “CJ the Smart Guy,” is a certified public accountant. He knows most people are hesitant to venture into the world of cryptocurrency, which is understandable. Hackers returned close to $600 million they stole from the Poly Network, a platform that looks to connect different blockchains so they can work together.
It was seen as the largest theft in the industry's history. Kelly told BNC “Start Your Day” host Shannon LaNier that if you have any money on the internet, there is a likelihood the money you have stored online can be hacked.
He said if you add your money to a “cold wallet,” which means offline, your money should be safe. All this and more on “Start Your Day.”
