BNC hosts Sharon Reed and Shannon LaNier are apparently Rihanna fans, and they’ve enjoyed seeing her create a billion-dollar empire as she continues to leave her mark.
The singer-turned-beauty mogul's third annual Fenty Fashion Show is premiering September 24. The annual television special is centered around Rihanna's lingerie brand Savage X Fenty and also includes music performances. Reed says she believes other starlets will follow suit, noting that singer and dancer Ciara has a new fashion brand called Lita in the works. Serena Williams has also been dipping into fashion, a move LaNier thinks is the perfect transition from her usual world of tennis. The pair made it clear that while Beyoncé also taps into fashion with her iconic Ivy Park line, they will absolutely not accept her pulling a Rihanna and failing to release new music.
