The vice president emphasized the cuts to childcare costs for families after she visited a childcare center in New Jersey on Friday. On Tuesday, the Poor People's Campaign marched to the Capitol to help put a face on who the plan could benefit the most. They were joined by low-wage essential workers, who gave personal testimonials of how poverty has impacted them. They also brought signed petitions with the names of more than 100,000 people who are demanding Congress pass the bill.
